Answer the following questions to the best of your ability to see about how much your cake will cost.
This is an estimate; not a quote.
 
*How many people do I need to feed?
If you have up to 10 people you will probably need a 6" cake.
If you have up to 24 people you will probably need an 8" cake.
If you have up to 36 people you will probably need a 10" cake.
If you have up to 56 people you will probably need a 12" cake.
*Many times, I will stack a couple (or several) different sized tiers to accomplish the amount of cake you need for your event. This can make for a much more impressive looking cake. This is called a tiered cake and tiered cakes are always priced as HIGHLY DECORATED cakes, regardless of decoration, because of the extra time, skill and tools needed to successfully make a cake in this manner.
 
​*I don't have a size requirement because I want a sculpted cake.
Sculpted cakes are priced according to labor intensity. This is the most costly way to buy a cake but always has a huge impact at parties. Most sculpted cakes take about an hour to design and at least 4 hours to create. This starts the cost off at $125 in labor. If your cake looks like it's gravity defying I will be using sturdy support structures as well. These usually cost around $15 to create and I charge them at cost so whatever it costs me, that's what it costs you.

*If you are ordering an undecorated cake- frosted, standard filling and no adornments-

 *Cakes with minimal decoration (such as a few flowers on top and some writing)
6" minimal cake $68 (tax included)
8" minimal cake $78 (tax included)
10" minimal cake $93 (tax included)

 *Cakes with moderate decoration (such as fully covered in rosettes with writing or a pick, macarons, gold fleck, sprinkles or other adornments)
6" moderate cake $78 (tax included)
8" moderate cake $88 (tax included)
10" moderate cake $103 (tax included)
12" moderate cake $117 (tax included)
 *Highly decorative cakes (These are cakes that involve things such as hand painting, royal lacing, characters, fondant figures, special purchases, round slightly sculpted cakes, drip cakes with adornments etc.)

*Smash Cakes are 4" cakes that are usually given to a child on their first birthday for the child to dig into on their own. Smash cakes are $35 unless purchased along with another cake, then they are $25.

*What kind of filling do I want?
What goes inside a cake is often different than what the outside of the cake is frosted with. I do not charge extra for this but I do charge for more than 2 different fillings. Example, if your cake is frosted with buttercream and you want caramel filling, there is no extra charge. If you also want to alternate with chocolate filling that will be an additional charge. *I want custom Royal Iced Shortbread Cookies to go on and/or with my cake.
*Many people like to have cookies that go with the theme of their celebration to serve or to use as party favors. My Royal Iced Shortbread Cookies are always $48.00 per dozen. While there is a minimum one dozen order, you may order whatever number you need for your event. (In other words, you don't need to order "by the dozen".)
 
*How far away from Pine Village Place in Loganville, GA 30052 do I live?
To find your delivery cost, check your GPS to see how far you are from Laurie Bakes by Laurie Valenzuela. All cakes are $.50 per mile round trip. If, for example, you live 10 miles away from Pine Village Place, Loganville; then your total delivery cost would be $10.00.
